Barbaricum is seeking a skilled All-Source Analyst to support US Special Operations Command Korea (SOCKOR) by conducting research and analysis of multi-intelligence data, collaborating with Intelligence Community (IC) entities, and providing comprehensive reporting analysis on Commander's Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) and Essential Elements of Information (EEIs). This analyst will integrate with a broader team of intelligence professionals working to illuminate trans-regional threats to the U.S. and allied nations, including enhancing the capability to identify Foreign Intelligence Entities, Violent Extremist Organizations, sympathizers, and Anti-US / Anti ROK / Pro-North Korea dissident civil organizations that threaten US interests in the Northeast Asia region.Responsibilities
  • Research and analyze multi-intelligence data for Irregular Warfare (IW) / Unconventional Warfare (UW) assessments.
  • Create, update, and provide reporting analysis on PIRs and EEIs.
  • Support Targeting Analysts and Socio-Cultural/Human Terrain Analysts in research and discovery tasks.
  • Provide fused intelligence bridging geospatial and HT analysis at strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
  • Coordinate with other command, IC, and Department of Defense (DOD) specialists for collaboration, information sharing, and standardization.
  • Conduct in-depth research using classified and unclassified data sources.
  • Review current message traffic related to a specific person or theme.
  • Collaborate with internal and external Points of Contacts to ensure comprehensive research efforts.
  • Utilize Map of The World to assist in visualizing Pattern Analysis Section products.
  • Design collective research plans, including work breakdown and schedule.
  • Work with SOCKOR SOJ2to manage expectations of potential time constraints.
  • Determine SMEs associated with the research topic and foster collaboration with other agencies.
  • Incorporate measures of confidence in reports and utilize existing credibility and reliability rating systems.
  • Interpret and correlate seemingly unrelated information using automated analysis and custom-developed tools.
  • Identify information gaps and develop Source-Directed Requirements or identify alternate sources.
  • Work alongside Geospatial personnel and technologists for data translation and representation on maps.
  • Develop validation points for the Digital Globe Signature Analyst process.
  • Live and work in an operational environment when required (e.g., semiannual exercises operating from CP Tango, FOS-I, USAG-Daegu).
  • Create graphical, written, and verbal intelligence briefings for SOCKOR Commander and staff as directed.
Qualifications
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four years documented experience as an intelligence specialist.
  • Fluently speak, read, and write English.
  • Two years of experience in IC and/or DOD intelligence OR four years relevant military intelligence experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including briefing senior government leadership and publishing analytic products for senior and policymaker use.
  • Proficient with all available search tools employed by the TSOCs, including Fusion Analysis Development Effort (FADE) - Multi-INT Spatial Temporal (MIST) (FADE-MIST).
  • Experience and knowledge allowing for the comparison of alternative techniques applied at other locations.
  • Working level knowledge of Arc
