Faithlife is looking for a Korean Content Specialist with experience and knowledge of the Korean speaking Christian World to join their growing Korean products team. This individual will help the team build, market, and promote their Korean offerings.
As the Korean Content Specialist, you will work with the team on product- and marketing-related projects, as well as offer customer support and promote the product at conferences.
You are fluent in Korean and have a firm understanding of specialized religious terminology and cultural nuances. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and donβt mind when projects are pivoted. You are independent, goal-driven, have an entrepreneurial drive, and love interacting with people.
Location: Seoul, South Korea or Bellingham, WA, US
Requirements
Major Responsibilities:
- Work with the team on Mobile Ed product development
- Work on the localization related tasks
- Drive business development initiatives
- Strategize, plan, execute, and oversee a robust marketing strategy to market to existing and new customers (Mobile -Ed)
- Interact with customers in a sales and support role
- Work on the Korean translation and oversee creation of theological, exegetical, and linguistic content for Logos Bible Software.
- Present Logos at conferences and to interested institutions
- Work with third party partners in both a sales and relational capacity
Candidate Specifications:
- Is fluent in both Korean and English
- Intermediate skills of video editing and video production
- Collaborate closely with team members to achieve project goals
- Develop keyword lists and ad copy for search campaigns
- Proactively identify and implement potential campaign improvements and optimizations
- Create post mortem reports
- Must have the ability to multitask and work within deadlines
- Able to work independently managing projects
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Is comfortable with public speaking
The ideal candidate:
- Work experience in producing video/digital contents
- Has industry experience in Christian publishing and/or e-commerce
- Takes ownership of projects and gets things done quickly and effectively
- Can be flexible and work under pressure
- Has a degree in Biblical or theological studies or similar
- Uses, or has previously used, a Bible software product
- Has creative writing experience
