Why we have this role @ Koala

Based on our success in Australia and Japan, we are expanding our business to Korea and looking for a Logistics Coordinator to ensure day-to-day fulfilment processes run smoothly including importation, inbound freight, fulfilment operations, outbound freight, and last mile delivery. This role is also responsible for monitoring the key operational performances such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy and reconciliation, and also supports the vendor payment.

Requirements

Key responsibilities.

  • Work closely with the Planning team to ensure inbound freight deliveries are scheduled correctly and receipted on time by 3PL.
  • Monitor 3PL and last-mile delivery partners' daily activity to ensure the Koala customer service level and agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement)’s are maintained.
  • Work closely with last-mile delivery partner and the customer experience team to mitigate delivery issues proactively.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct month-end stock reconciliations.
  • Reconcile and validate monthly logistics service-related invoices as required.
  • Conduct regular warehouse site visits to ensure the agreed service level is maintained while all the safety, environmental, Hygiene related plans are in place with the Koala standard.
  • Support to maintain key relationships with stakeholders at 3PLs and last-mile delivery partners.
  • Support the NPI (New Product Introduction) timelines and prioritize 3PL activities to ensure a successful launch in South Korea.
  • Assist in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives through the supply chain while maintaining a continuous improvement perspective to support Koala’s growth.
  • Support the various digitization projects to automate the daily logistic operation.
  • Support the routine RFI/RFP/RFQ work to develop the supplier base in South Korea.

Ideal background

  • Either direct experience with Logistics amp; warehousing, or transferable skills based on providing a high level of customer satisfaction from overseeing delivery to customers. Preferred skills include:
  • Initiative. Ability to act independently with a sense of urgency when needed, and knowing when urgency is needed.
  • Customer focus. Ability to see what the customer sees and focus attention on either achieving what is expected or ensuring customer expectations are managed
  • Continuous improvement mindset. Not content with ‘status quo’, always thinking of how to make it better for Koala amp; for the customer
