The Director, Safety Strategy role requires a deep understanding of the global life sciences safety space and associated applications including Safety, SafetyDocs, Safety.AI, and Signal. The role will be responsible for growing Veeva’s safety market share. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of Life Sciences industry and technology A-players, who, together, are bringing the next generation of safety applications and capabilities.What You'll Do- Responsible for growing and sustaining the APAC amp; China market for Veeva’s Safety applications including Safety, SafetyDocs, Safety.AI, and Signal
- Provide thought leadership and act as a trusted partner to sales and solution consulting in helping define sales strategy to drive new opportunities in the safety space
- Provide business and technology expertise to the product team in support of new or enhanced features and functionality in safety applications
- Develop strategy and messaging for customer adoption of new features and functionality for new and existing customer base
- Build a relationship with communities to influence the market
- Engage with the health authority to understand regulatory trends and changes. In addition, being an advisor and consultant when regulatory develops the guideline
- Presenting at industry conferences, leading webinars and authoring articles for industry publications
Requirements- Direct experience with GVP and both safety database or safety event management and safety systems processes
- 7+ years experience in enterprise Software, Technology Consulting, Life Science, or related safety space
- 5+ years of experience working directly with safety technologies
- Confident English communicator who can work directly with Veeva's global team
- Strong critical and analytical thinking, willing/able to dive into details
- Can articulate opinions and discuss sometimes conflicting views
- Ability to travel for customer meetings and presentations
