We provide furniture for the digital age, and have become well known in Australia and Japan because of our approach to marketing and retail which is more akin to a tech-company. Our mission is to become the smartest way to buy high-quality furniture online. Why we have this role @ Koala
Based on our success in Australia and Japan, we are expanding our business to Korea and looking for a seasoned marketing manager who will lead and implement marketing activities for Korea to grow the business together. This role will report into our Marketing Director in Korea and will work closely with them on both strategic and more execution focussed marketing and brand activities.
Requirements
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute and optimize local marketing activities of koala products to deliver excellent campaigns and messages to target consumers
- Be creative and disruptive in planning IMC marketing creative ideas for TVC/digital/social
- Plan the media and traffic by funnel from ATL to digital and analyse performance
- Plan the marketing content on the website pages from homepage banners to product detail pages
- Collaborate with other global or local teams, finding synergy, insights and opportunities across the business for growth
- Work closely with our selected creative and media agency to ensure insightful planning and military execution
- Bring a revenue amp; growth-oriented mindset and optimize ROI
- Ensure all brand activities are globally aligned and locally relevant
- Add to Koala’s progressive and collaborative working environment by communicating effectively and working together to deliver our vision, values and business strategy
Ideal background
- A strong candidate with +8 years’ experience in IMC marketing campaigns in fast-paced B2C environments
- Experience of the digital marketing channel mix
- Solid track record in driving growth from marketing campaigns and partnerships
- Experience in new product campaign launch and world-class B2C brands
- Experience in performance marketing and optimization
- Strong communication skills both in Korean and English
- Is a self-starter who is proactive, solutions-focused and has an innate desire to challenge the status quo
