Job Description

The Peopleamp;Operations Officer/Manager will play a very important role as the main point of contact for employees in our Seoul, Tokyo and Taipei offices.

Ideally we are looking for someone with experience in HR in a diverse working culture. We’ll expect you to be enthusiastic and passionate about providing a best in class service to our employees.


HR Processes and Policies

1. Local Team Support

  • Be the HR point of contact for employees in Seoul, Tokyo and Taipei office
  • Provide proactive consultation and direction in areas of employee/labor relations to market heads and managers of your respective offices
  • Provide HR procedures and policies guidance to local team managers
  • Update, implement and maintain company policies and procedures
  • Maintain and keep the HRIS updated, ensure proper documentation and filing process are in place
  • Prepare employment contracts, addendums and company letters
  • Process payroll amp; benefits management via external payroll provider
  • Ensure compliance with all labour law requirements
  • Work with Office Manager where necessary
  • Manage and look at ways of improving employee benefits with insight from market trends and internal needs
  • Partner with managers on development plans and employees’ improvement programs
  • Manage HR and Office budget
  • Support the Talent team on recruitment process where necessary

2. Global Team alignment

  • Work closely with the Regional and Global People team to align the local HR processes, policies and intiatives.
  • Work with regional HR team to implement relevant training and development needs

People Experience

  • Drive employee engagement and retention activites in partnership with regional People team and Talent team
  • Prepare on and off-boarding of employees by liaising with different internal parties

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years HR experience is required preferably in MNC
  • Experience working in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Having strong organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work
  • Having strong sense of ownership
  • First class written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • The ability to solve problems using own-initiative
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Positive and cooperative attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a culture with diversity
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office software packages
  • Korean Native
  • Fluent English - Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening all Business Level
  • Other language skills will be a plus (Japanese, Chinese)
