The Role
Veeva is looking for Account Executives with cloud software experience to drive sales of Vault Ramp;D applications. Account Executives will be responsible for generating opportunities, winning new business, and managing strategic relationships with life sciences companies (biotech and pharmaceutical).
Candidates should have experience working with pharma and biotech and an ability to collaborate with internal colleagues across teams while understanding the life science industry, enterprise software sales cycle, and an ability to successfully communicate across various business functions and organizational levels are central to the role.What You'll Do
  • Understand and present Veeva products and inspire prospect interest
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business, IT, and C level
  • Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets
  • Contribute to team quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
  • Keep current with industry trends and engage customers addressing their business challenges
  • Act with urgency, integrity, and a focus on the customer
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience selling enterprise software and related services
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Strategic account planning and execution skills
  • Ability to work with a wide range of customers from end users to C-level
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skillsStrong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
  • A passion for solving customer business problems
  • Be willing to travel as required
Nice to Have
  • Understanding of Pharmaceutical IT systems in Ramp;D and manufacturing area
  • Experience in enterprise software solution sales to Pharma and biotech companies
