Barbaricum is seeking a Communication Strategy Assessment Specialist to provide services to a fast-paced and dynamic program supporting the U.S. Military 4 star-led, joint command United States Forces Korea (USFK) in South Korea. The Communication Strategy Assessment Specialist must be a United States citizen and possess an active Secret U.S. Government security clearance or higher.Qualifications
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required (TS and above desired)
  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in analytical duties as related to military operations, communication strategic planning, and/or information-related military programs and management
  • Master's Degree in National Intelligence, Security Studies, Statistical or Analytical in nature
  • Korean language proficiency (equivalent to or higher than a 3, 3, 3 level on the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT))
  • Experience in operational assessment/research and planning background
  • Experience in intelligence and operations within security industries and professional work experience as analysis-centric environment in a high-tempo environment
  • Must have prior professional experience in military operations and strategic-level war-gaming to deliver analytic reports with assessment equities
  • Mastery of the principles, methods, practices and techniques of open-source research and analytics that enable the employee to function as the technical information environment assessment subject matter expert to inform communication strategy, plans, initiatives, programs and events
  • Prior experience in support of senior leaders
  • Expert skill in collection and research of communication strategy relevant information on all domains
  • Expert skill to conduct comprehensive analysis of real world political-military (pol-mil) considerations and policy decisions, demonstrated ability to provide forecast toward strategic formulation and messaging/engagement plans
  • Must have the ability to understand national and global effects and provide valuable Measure of Effectiveness and Measure of Performance feedback to inform UNC/CFC/USFKcommunication strategies and messaging equities
  • Support the collaborative development and refinement of UNC/CFC/USFK internal communication strategies and engagement plans
  • Demonstrated expert in writing and managing communication policies and procedures, roles, and responsibilities
  • Skilled to analyze Commanders Intent, vision, risk and recommend solutions to reinforce the communication strategy equities
  • Application of multi-media communication principles, methods, practices, techniques and analytical methods to inform communication strategy assessment
  • Possess the ability to conduct research to integrate communication strategic concepts and theories.
  • Expert skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods in the collection, summary, analysis and interpretation of specific of the information environment
  • Demonstrated skill to develop new and creative methods and approaches in studying, planning, integrating, executing, and evaluating the overall strategy that addresses the command’s challenges
  • Possesses ability to analyze and evaluate a wide variety of input from the diverse media outlets to develop appropriate recommendations based on assessed findings to achieve communication strategic objectives
  • Mastery in overseeing the tracking and analysis of media mentions and monitor growth over time
