Job Description

Finance Management

  • Prepare profit/loss, balance sheet, statutory requirements as per local regulations etc.
  • Maintain bookkeeping function including maintenance of the General Ledger, Accounts Payable (vendor invoice processing and payments), Accounts Receivable (customer invoice processing and payment follow-ups), Payroll, Local Statutory Reporting, Management Reporting (MIS).
  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with local accounting principles.
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization by coordinating with the external local accounting agency to ensure VAT, Income Tax, are met and that financial information is secure and stored in compliance with current legislation.
  • Prepare and support all required information for the Group / local audit requirements and liaise with the internal / external auditors as necessary.
  • Manage and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy. Ensure that cash needs of the organization are maintained.
  • Raise customer invoices locally once the work is delivered and ensure all the supporting executed agreements are in place before raising and delivering the invoices to customers.
  • Coordinate with the external local accounting agency to ensure all the inputs are provided and received, and to ensure appropriate local compliances are adhered to.

MIS and Reporting

  • Maintain financial records for each location / Line of Business in a manner that facilitates Management reports.
  • Assist Accounting and Finance teams in India with the preparation of budgets by providing relevant information on a regular basis.
  • Manage monthly MIS and reporting pack to share the required inputs to teams in India on a regular basis.

Legal Contract Coordination

  • Review, revise and negotiate contracts in local language, including monitoring of contract performance and compliances required by the customer and the process.
  • Ensure all the agreements and contracts are signed in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve the efficiency of the process while managing controls and risks.
  • Respond to inquiries from stakeholders such as Sales, Finance and Operations for terms of active contracts.
  • Communicate and manage the workflow of all contract stages.

Requirements

  • Equipped with Degree / Certification in Finance or Accounting.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant finance (end-to-end) experience in the bookkeeping activities, financial accounting and legal coordination within large organizations / MNCs.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of finance and local accounting systems and standards.
  • Knowledge on MS D365 or MS Axapta application will be advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel and Word).
  • Good communication (both verbal and written) skills in Korean and English in order to liaise with internal stakeholders within and outside of South Korea, including Accounting and Finance teams based in India.
  • Able to work under pressure and support the organization based on the business requirements.
  • Good team player and with appropriate urgency and attitude towards work deliverables.
