Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Audio Producer that has a passion and enthusiasm for digital storytelling. As we continue to revolutionize a new form of raw and intimate audio storytelling, the Mindset team is looking for an individual that can help elevate the content and processes involved to create the best listener and talent experiences possible. The ideal candidate is driven and passionate about growing this catalogue of original content and working with key internal and external stakeholders to make sure that every production is executed in a highly professional and efficient manner. This individual must be extremely communicative, diligent, proactive, and have a high level of attention to detail. They must be able to think not only short term but also medium and long term.
Requirements
- Enable producers to understand talent as deeply as possible through in-depth research and communication of all facets of talent we will be producing Mindset collections with
- Help the team maintain clarity of vision and communication by taking notes for roundtable meetings and brainstorms
- Ensure smooth workflow and by creating and maintaining production schedules and making sure all parties have what they need with no blockers
- Support the logistical lift of productions including but not limited to: creating run-of-show and schedule documents for both our team and talent, facilitating scheduling and planning of special audio interviews and recordings, organizing production insurance for trailer shoots, assisting talent needs on recording days, etc
- Make post-production more efficient by creating, maintaining, and editing the recording transcripts according to the producer’s vision
- Ensure smooth workflow between full-time and contractor hires with drive handoffs, folder and file organization, communicating and maintaining deadlines for cuts and approvals
- Ensure content quality by creating and maintain an ongoing list of Mindset's best contractor hires, network, and best potential collaborators
- Hand off final edits to marketing by doing quality control listens, copywriting, etc
- Ensure the highest quality hires by processing the initial batch of Mindset creatives applications
- Maintain budget sheets for Mindset collections
- Research and maintain the highest quality content subscriptions and libraries for Mindset collections - sound effects, music, production software, etc
- Cultivate the deepest relationship with talent by facilitating the design and execution of their Mindset recording experience, sending them thank-you gifts, etc
- Ensure our Producers can execute the vision of Mindset collections to be the utmost creative and rewarding experiences
