As Aamp;R Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting data-driven insights and evaluations on both emerging artists and trending music, modelling and exploration of predictive metrics, and creation of data-driven processes to help evaluate talent and inform decision making.
What you will do
- Develop a robust process for data discovery, evaluating music industry insights and identifying emerging and trending artists
- Establish and lead ongoing data-driven methods to discover quality music, provide detailed insights that support identification, evaluation, decision making and communicate findings to key stakeholders across the company
- Explore, create, and deploy large scale data-driven projects to support new value in various company verticals
- Continually find and test new predictive models and metrics to stay ahead of industry trends
- Identify, initiate and manage relationships with key external data service and analytics solutions providers to increase the impact and value of your efforts
- Fulfill ad-hoc analytics needs for the CEO, COO and other senior leadership
Requirements
- You have 2+ years experience in statistics amp; modelling
- You are curious and self-motivated to find undiscovered and trending talent
- Proficient with data analysis software such as SQL, R and Python
- Skilled in using data visualisation methods
- Problem solver who can be effective in situations with limited information
- You have the ability to communicate technical ideas to non-technical audiences
- Solid understanding of the modern digital landscape and music marketplace
- Experience in and passion for music is a must
