The Embedded Intelligence Analyst will work as part of the global security infrastructure of a major e-commerce company. The analyst will ensure that relevant stakeholders can bring critical decision-making and crisis management skills to bear in order to minimize the impact to people, assets, information and reputation. This role is being recruited on an initial 12-month contract.
Duties will involve:
- Monitoring global geopolitical events that may impact international travel, client events, and/or operations, and provide periodic and timely reporting.
- Maintaining awareness of issues that could affect business operations or the security of personnel and assets, including terrorism, violent crime, natural disasters, travel issues, criminal trends, civil unrest, and workplace violence.
- Conduct of strategic, tactical, and operational risk and threat assessments as directed by global security leadership.
- Production of insightful and actionable intelligence reports to client decision makers.
Requirements
- Graduate degree preferred
- Two to five years of relevant experience in threat intelligence, risk analysis or related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of key security, political, regulatory, operational, integrity and social risk issues across Asia Pacific
- Excellent English- and Korean-language oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines while interacting with colleagues and clients in sometimes challenging situations
- Ability to find, evaluate and succinctly summarize and critically assess large volumes of information, filtering out non-relevant details
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills
