Senior Investment Associate

The Senior Associate will provide strategic operational support to our portfolio investments. The Senior Associate will facilitate investment transactions that maximize the impact of this capacity in collaboration with the broader investment team.

• Proactively source high quality new investment opportunities that fit company's investment criteria
• Assist in the management of the due diligence process, review investment memos and drive investment execution.
• Assist in drafting Investment Memos and Due Diligence Reports
• Understand and lead the full investment lifecycle from due diligence, close process, pre and post funding support to follow-on funding
• Mentor and guide software-based startups by assisting them with fundraising, reviewing and screening their pitch decks, and conducting due diligence
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and interns in the investment team
• Develop an astute point of view on the investment opportunities the company should be pursuing, create market landscapes, source exciting companies, and articulate thoughtful analyses and recommendations to Partners.
• Build relationships with leading startups and generating high-quality deal flow by meeting with entrepreneurs and representing the firm at industry events

• Manage the due diligence process and drive operational metrics assessments, competitive analysis, product and technology evaluation, reference calls, and financial and exit modeling.
• Proactively source high quality new investment opportunities that fit company's investment criteria

Requirements

• Must be fluent in English and Korean
• Experience successfully managing multiple, complex projects at the same time
• Good networker, with an ability to help grow our Company by identifying investment opportunities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, balanced by an ability to get and communicate the big picture
• Knowledge of financial operational processes in serving clients.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to take immediate ownership of his/her work.
• Strong work ethic and be a team player
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and communication skills
• Capable of juggling multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a constantly changing environment
  
• Must be a self-starter
• Must work well independently and in a team-oriented environment

Benefits

• 4+ years of experience in venture capital, private equity, finance or product management, business development or in a high-impact role in an entrepreneurial organization or founder/ service building experiences or attorney in a law firm
• Undergraduate degree required; paralegal certification preferred; MBA preferred
• Venture Capital or direct investing experience or founder or startups is strongly preferred
• Experience working simultaneously on multiple projects and managing a high-volume of relationships
• General knowledge of markets and financial planning
• Preferably experience working within the startup ecosystem
