Event Project Manager (KR)

12 months fixed term contract

As an Event Project Manager supporting the client’s Korea Creator and Artist Marketing teams of one of the largest video sharing platforms, your work will include driving event production excellence through the management of venues, technical production, experiential programs, registration, translation services and event logistics.

You will create the cadence and drive the weekly WIP agenda with cross-functional teams across multiple markets. Your work will include managing agency/event partners in ensuring key milestones and all production needs are met, driving safety amp; security from planning to execution and acting as primary POC to the on-site Security POC. You will lead all pre-production and on-site production meetings for all stakeholders involved to ensure workstreams are aligned.

Role:

  • Spearhead the planning, execution, and day-to-day operations of all Creator Collective events in Korea, bringing together 100+ creators per event.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive event plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, objectives, and cross-functional teams.
  • Orchestrate seamless logistics, including guest lists, invitations, creator communication, transportation, accommodation, and catering.
  • Curate compelling agendas featuring keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions.
  • Engage and confirm the participation of renowned speakers, creators, and experts.
  • Craft enticing marketing strategies to drive pre-event hype across online campaigns, social media engagement, and email marketing.
  • Oversee smooth event execution, managing technical setups, audio-visual equipment, and special arrangements.
  • Be the on-the-ground champion, providing unwavering support to attendees and tackling unforeseen challenges.
  • Conduct post-event surveys and deliver comprehensive reports analysing success metrics, engagement levels, and areas for improvement.

You:

  • 6+ years of project amp; event management experience, including multi-stakeholder management across multiple markets
  • 2+ years of marketing, brand management, or content creation experience, ideally with a proven track record of organising offline marketing events.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, embracing cross-functional teamwork with local and regional marketing, creator partnership teams.
  • Experience managing third party agencies and sponsors
  • Experience leading and managing c-suite events amp; experiences / high profile events in the entertainment sector or brand experience space
  • Detail-oriented mindset and process-driven
  • Strong project management, ability to work on multiple facets of a project simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Good analytical, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, independent thinker and deal-maker
  • Passion for web video and digital culture. Understand digital creators and identify opportunities to celebrate the creator community
  • You express yourself fluently in Korean and English (both written and verbal), fostering seamless communication across cultures.
